San Nicolas’ vax campaign hits 100% pedia, 95% adults

SAN NICOLAS town made a feat when it succeeded in vaccinating 100% of percent pedia and 95 % of adult population with anti-COVID-19 vaccines.

Mayor Alicia Primicias-Enriquez’s post on her a Facebook account on January 16 said the accomplishment the town’s vaccination target was is based on the guidelines set by the National Inter Agency Task Force.

She said 25,230 were vaccinated per categories: 779 among A1 or workers in frontline health services, 3967 among A2 or senior citizens, 5154 among A3 or adult with co-morbidities, 6861among  A4 or frontline personnel in essential sectors, 914 among A5, 3747 among C or rest of the population, and 3870 among pediatric population.

From the 25,230 vaccinated , 23,471 individuals (90%) were fully vaccinated.

“Townmates, we are happy to see the growing number of our citizens responding to our call and who believe in the importance of vaccination to protect themselves against this deadly virus,” the mayor said. (Eva Visperas)
