THE Mabini municipal government already inoculated 70 percent of its eligible population as of Monday, Dec. 20.

The local government unit said the inoculation of 12,895 residents with their first dose of COVID-19 vaccines have been completed.

The municipal health office expressed satisfaction with the cooperation extended by the eligible residents in the campaign to protect the town’s populace from COVID infection

To further inoculate more, the MHO is urging those who have not been vaccinated to avail of the free inoculation program by registering at the municipal gymnasium even as it reminded  all residents to continue to abide by the health and distance protocols.

Meanwhile, the town government announced that MHO will soon start administering booster shots among those under the category group A1 up to A5 who were inoculated with Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Qualified for the booster shots are those who were administered their second vaccines 6 months ago; those vaccinated with the Johnson and Johnson vaccine are qualified for the booster shot after three months. (Jerick Pasiliao)
