300 college students in San Carlos City get COVID-19 vax

SOME 300 college students in San Carlos City have already been inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines in a mall-based vaccination on Tuesday, Nov. 24.

City information officer Jhuliano Resuello said the activity was part of the Massive Advocacy Campaign for COVID-19 Vaccination and Ceremonial Vaccination for Tertiary Students in Region 1 of the Commission on Higher Education in anticipation of the opening of face-to-face classes in the city.

IATF Resolution no. 148-G has given the go-signal to higher education institutions at Alert Level 2 and Alert Level 3 to start limited face-to-face classes.

The vaccinated students were from Binalatongan Community College, San Carlos College, and other colleges in the city.

The city government recently ramped up its vaccination program to the city’s pediatric population aged 12 to 17 years old.

As of Nov. 24, San Carlos City already registered 102,000 individuals have ben inoculated. (Jerick Pasiliao)
