Barangay in Sison placed on total lockdown

By September 12, 2021Inside News

BARANGAY Alibeng in Sison was placed on total lockdown from Sept. 8 to 15 due to surge of COVID-19 cases in the community.

This was contained in Municipal Inter-Agency Task Force Resolution (IATF) No. 004-2021 approving the request of the barangay council .

The resolution said the rise in cases is putting a strain on the health care system and greatly affect access of patients from Sison to immediate isolation and care since hospital beds in the province are already full, and existing facilities in the municipality are nearing full-bed capacities.

The barangay council of Alibeng passed the resolution declaring the barangay to be placed on total lockdown during an emergency meeting/session on Sept. 6. (Eva Visperas)
