THE Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) clarified that vaccination cards cannot be used as passes to enter the province and only SPASS registration is the only way to get in.

Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Geraldine Baniqued stressed this in a radio interview on Thursday, September 9.

Baniqued said individuals from outside the province, despite being vaccinated, are still required to register with SPASS, and a confirmation message from tarana.ph, will be issued for entry along border control checkpoints.

She said vaccination card will only be useful in lieu of the presentation of a negative RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen test.

She added that only persons  from GCQ and MGCQ areas who registered are allowed entry and non-APORs and tourists from ECQ and MECQ areas, despite compliance with entry protocols, will be barred entry.

Meanwhile, Baniqued reminded the public not to patronize individuals who offer transport services to and from the province, as this is strictly forbidden.

Those who illegally offer transport services will be penalized. (Ahikam Pasion)
