TO determine the vaccine acceptability of eligible residents of San Carlos City, the city health office (CHO) is conducting a survey while waiting for the next allocation of vaccines to arrive.

In his Facebook live message on Wednesday, Mayor Julier Resuello announced that a team is gathering data in barangays to identify those who are eligible to get a vaccine.

So far, only 700 persons out of our more than 200,000 population have been inoculated and Resuello urged residents to provide factual information so their names can be included among those willing to receive the vaccine based on the prioritization list.

Meanwhile, Resuello also expressed that he is saddened by PHO report that based on the 9 a.m. daily COVID-19 monitoring of the Provincial Health Office, San Carlos City logged the most number of active cases with 88, out of the 7,784 total confirmed cases in the province.

Resuello blamed the surge of the disease in the city due to continued complacency of the residents and urged them to adopt the proper wearing of face masks, face shields and observance of physical distancing. (Jerick Pasiliao)
