PDEA holds anti-drug advocacy forum
THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 1 conducted a Community-Based Anti-illegal Drug Advocacy (CBAIDA) campaign for members of the Anti-illegal Drug Abuse Councils of Agno town last Wednesday in Barangay Macaboboni.
The day-long activity was steered by the Preventive Education Community Involvement team under the supervision of PDEA Regional Director Joel Plaza.
The campaign to capacitate ADAC members in sustaining the drug-cleared status of barangays and municipalities in Pangasinan.
Reinforced by the Barangay Macaboboni Drug Clearing Team, PDEA distributed anti-illegal drugs komiks’ entitled “Pangalawang Pagbabago” to the community that served as information education and communication material to spread anti-drug awareness and as part of public dissemination on the adverse effects of illegal drugs and substance abuse.
