Canteen owner shot dead
A CANTEEN owner was shot dead in Barangay Cabatling, Malasiqui on Sept. 30.
Osmar Isabelo Montemayor, 59, a resident of Quezon Blvd., Barangay Poblacion this town, was shot by an unidentified gunman who hit him in the head. The gunman fled.
He was rushed to Cabatling Municipal Hospital.
The victim was reportedly engaged in illegal activity of “bookies”.
Investigators are still establishing the possible motive for the incident.
Closed circuit television footages in the area are being reviewed to identify the gunman. (Eva Visperas)
