SISON DROPS TO 4TH
DAGUPAN City is back on top of the COVID-19 watch list in Pangasinan while erstwhile Sison briefly on top has dropped to fourth with just 9 active cases as of November 26 per the monitoring of the Provincial Health Office (PHO).
Meanwhile, 18 towns and one city are now considered COVID-19 free: Alaminos City and towns of Agno, Anda, Balungao, Bani, Bautista, Bugallon, Calasiao, Infanta. Mabini, Mangatarem. Natividad, Pozorrubio, San Nicolas, San Quintin, Sta. Barbara, Sta. Maria, Sto. Tomas and Urbiztondo.
Dagupan still has 69 COVID-19 active cases while San Fabian is second with 31 cases, followed by Malasiqui, 11 cases and Sison, 9.
The town of Mangaldan has eight remaining active COVID-19 cases, followed by Rosales (6), Basista (5), Tayug (4), Bolinao (3), Lingayen (3), Urdaneta City (3), and Villasis (3).
The November 26 tally showed Sison with only one confirmed case while its six patients had recovered. There were 14 others who recovered on November 15.
Sison’s biggest tally three weeks ago was 51, some 40 of whom were workers of a cement plant in Barangay Labayug, though most of whom are not from the town.
Most if not all the workers of the cement plant have recovered and returned to their posts. (Leonardo Micua)
