DCWD celebrates 33rd anniversary

THE Dagupan City Water District (DCWD) will observe its 33rd anniversary on July 28, marking its 33rd year of continuing strides to provide sufficient and quality water supply to residents in its jurisdiction.

While coping with the pandemic, DCWD’s programs and projects seeking to improve its services to its customers are on track.

DCWD launched “30/30 for 2020” to improve and expand its service connection to at least 30,000 and reduce Non-Revenue Water (NRW) to 30% or lower this year, while improving DCWD’s water supply service.

Among the ongoing expansion and development projects are along Judge Jose de Venecia Extension Road, pipeline extensions at Bonuan Binloc, Bonuan Boquig and Bonuan Gueset, the Design and Build Contract for the construction of DCWD Water Supply Improvement Project at Sitio Maligaya, Bonuan Gueset, the laying of 300 mm PVC Transmission Mains (series 8 and 300mm steel pipe bridge crossing Judge Jose de Venecia Extension Road, the new pumping station at Sitio Dumurog, Lucao, and the new satellite collection office at Herrero-Perez.

The celebration will be led by members of the DCWD Board of directors headed by Atty. Liberato Reyna Jr., chairman; Raymundo Ramos, vice chairman; and Directors Arlene Ann Sanchez, Armand Roth Duque, and Voltaire Emeliano Siapno-Tada, and the DCWD management headed by General Manager Rizaldy Mandap.
