Rice mill owner stabbed dead by drug user
SISON –A rice mill owner was stabbed dead inside his establishment by a self-confessed drug user on May 24 in Barangay Labayug this town.
Samuel Dapyusin, 64, resident of Barangay Inmalog, Sison, was stabbed dead with a kitchen knife by the suspect Jay-Ar Tampoya 32, laborer, resident of Barangay Labayug, who is reportedly suffering from mental illness.
Dapyusin, who surrendered last year, was about to mill palay in his Antonio Ega Rice Mill when Tampoya arrived and suddenly stabbed him several times.
Dapyusin sustained stab wound on his left chest, left arm and on his back.
The suspect was arrested in a follow-up police operation. (Tita Roces)
