Restaurant owner wounded in gun attack
CALASIAO—A restaurant owner was wounded in a gun attack by motorcycle-riding suspects in his establishment on May 24 along Barangay Poblacion West this town.
The victim is Benjamin Cabugao, 53, resident of said barangay who manages Broadway Kambingan in this town, was in his kitchen when the unidentified suspect approached him and shot him. He sustained a gunshot wound on the left portion of his head.
The suspect and his companion, driving their getaway motorcycle, quickly fled.
Cabugao underwent surgery at Dagupan Doctors Villaflor Memorial Hospital in Dagupan City.
Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered one fired cartridge shell casing at the crime scene believed to be from caliber. 45.
The police are yet to establish motive for the incident. (Tita Roces)
