Stores asked to set up consumer welfare desks

BUSINESS establishments in Pangasinan were asked to set up consumer welfare desks (CWDs) to handle consumer complaints to maintain a business-friendly environment essential for stability and growth.

Provincial Director Peter Mangabat of DTI-Pangasinan said CWDs are significant venues where consumers can complain about defective products and services.

Mangabat said that maintaining CWDs are vital part of enterprises’ marketing strategy as it helps keep the consumers satisfied and loyal patrons of the firm’s products and services.
