MBTF inducts DCAA officers

LINGAYEN—The officers and members of the newly formed Dagupan City Athletic Association (DCAA) were inducted into office on Monday by Mayor Belen Fernandez at the city museum.

DCAA is headed by Manuel M. Ferrer, principal of Bonuan Boquig Elementary School is the City School Division’s working committee for planning and in implementing Department of Education’s sports activities.

The group is composed of public school heads with representatives from private schools.

The other officers are Joel T. Cerezo, vice president; Liduvina Q. Antonio, secretary; Dr. Erly G. Datario, treasurer; and Lucena C. Bugarin, auditor.

The members of the Board of Directors are Agape M. Nabua, District 1; Jane T. Cajayon, District II; Renato D. Benitez, District III; Oliver M. Ferrer, District IV; Sherryl S. Villacorta, District V; and Albert C. Carvajal, District VI.

Representatives in the elementary division are Ronel T. Salazar (public schools) and Christopher Dominic T. Aguinaldo (private schools), while in the secondary division are Dante T. Ubando (public schools) and Gregorio G. Baldelomar (private schools).

“As we give importance to the education of our children it is also equally important that we develop their prowess in sports. The city will support their training for their development,” Mayor Fernandez told the DCAA officers and members. (Leonardo Micua)
