Bongbong here on Sept. 27

MANGALDAN – Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is expected to engage Pangasinenses in a discussion on speculations about his plans for the 2016 elections on Sept. 27 when he arrives in Mangaldan.

Former La Union Vice Governor Aida Aspiras said Marcos will be the guest of honor and speaker and inducting officer of the Mangaldan Federation of Civil Society Organization at the Trish Hotel here.

He will be accompanied by his wife, Atty. Liza Araneta-Marcos, and will be received by former Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr., former Gov. Vicente Millora, Party-list Rep. Jonathan Dela Cruz, Gov. Amado Espino Jr., Rep. Gina de Venecia, Mayor Bona-Fe de Vera, Vice Mayor Manny Casupang, other provincial and municipal officials and teachers.

The federation is headed by Dr. Jose Soriano, president of Volunteers Against Corruption for the Uprightness and Upliftment of Mangaldan (VACUUM).

As head of the Senate Local Government Committee, Marcos is on the forefront in the debates fine-tuning the bill creating the BBL.

Aside from administering the oaths of the civil societies federation, the Senator will also induct the officers of Subdivision Associations of Pangasinan, the Fishpond Operators, Owners and Fisherfolk Association of Dagupan City, the Pangasinan Muslim Assembly, and the President Hotel Breakfast Club.
