BAHALA NA! –  Images of 6 to 8 schoolchildren finding every space on a tricycle for their regular commute to-and-fro the school have become a common sight on highways and barangay roads again. While there are no statistics on road accidents involving pupils in overloaded tricycles to make parents worry about the safety of their children, it’s the usual “bahala na” attitude that takes precedence in return for the daily cheaper fare.
