The bagoong-inspired floats created with indigenous materials by schools and bagoong manufacturers led the parade around the Poblacion.

Vice Governor Jose Ferdinand Calimlim Jr. and Board Member Amado Espino III led the unveiling of the two giant bagoong jars locally known as ‘pasig’.

Event chairman Councilor Judy Vargas said the two giant pasig will be installed in strategic places as Lingayen iconic landmarks.

Bagoong or salted fish sauce is the “One Town, One Product” of Lingayen and is known to be the best of its kind in the country.
