Capitol opens tourist assistance center

THE provincial government inaugurated on last week its Capitol Tourist Assistance and Pasalubong Center located in front of the Lingayen beach.

According to provincial tourism officer, Ma. Luisa Elduayan, the center is open everyday including weekends from 8a.m. to 5p.m., and will extend its operating hours if there is an event around the Capitol complex. The center sells various native products of towns i.e., woodcrafts, fruits, sweet delicacies, bagoong, souvenir items, etc.

Governor Amado Espino Jr. announced during the inauguration among his plans for the province’s tourism industry is to construct a convention center and to encourage investors to build more hotels around it. (Johanne R. Macob/PNA/PIO)
