Limgas na Pangasinan 2014 screening set March 1-2

LINGAYEN–The search for Limgas na Pangasinan 2014 is on!

Screening schedules for aspirants have been set on March 1, 1-3 p.m. at the Urdaneta District Hospital; and March 2, 1-3 p.m., at the Conference Hall of Malong building at the capitol complex here.

Provincial Treasurer Marilou U. Utanes, Limgas search committee chairperson, said municipal and city mayors have been requested to send at least two candidates from their respective towns and cities to participate in the screening as early as Feb. 17.

The Limgas na Pangasinan search is an annual activity of the month-long Pistay Dayat (Sea Festival) held in observance ort Agew na Pangasinan (Pangasinan Day) on April 5 and ends first week of May.

A candidate must meet the following qualifications: single, 16-23 years old (at least a high school graduating student), at least 5’3 in height, and of a good moral character.
