Iranian kills compatriot
AN Iranian national was arrested last February 16 for killing a fellow Iranian on the same day at about 9:30 in the evening.
The police reported that suspect Afshin Mamdavi, 38, stabbed victim Bagher Nasserosta at the latter’s rented unit at the Rayos Apartment in Bonuan Gueset, Dagupan City.
Initial investigation disclosed that the suspect owed the victim some undetermined cash.
Nasserosta, 27, single, sustained a single stab wound on his chest and was declared dead upon arrival at the Decena Hospital in Bonuan Gueset.
Dagupan City Police Station Chief Police Superintendent Christopher Abrahano said a murder case will be filed against the suspect.
Nasserosta and Mamdavi are both nursing students in a private school in the city.–Johanne R. Macob
