Cops nab 2 men while repacking shabu
DAGUPAN CITY–Two men were arrested by the police while in the act of repacking suspected illegal drugs on a vacant lot on Perez Boulevard last June 18 at about 12:30 a.m..
Elements of the Police Precinct on Galvan Street arrested Fernando Recto, alias Nono, 31, a fish porter, and Roberto Repalda, 31, a vendor at Herrero-Perez Street.
A third suspect managed to escape.
Seized from the possession, control and custody of Recto and Repalda were one sachet of suspected shabu, one disposable lighter and one rolled aluminum foil.
Both suspects were brought to the Region 1 Medical Center for medico-legal examination and later lodged in jail.
