High school teacher nabbed for selling shabu

A 58-year-old public high school teacher was arrested by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during a buy-bust operation in Alaminos City in the evening of June 13.

PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac Jr. identified the suspect as Salvacion Rabadon, a resident of 25 Pag-asa Street, Palamis, Alaminos City, and a high school teacher in Los Ciente High School in the neighboring town of Bolinao.

Rabadon, together with her cohorts identified as Ronald Lopez, alias Onad, 38, and Maria Cristina Mendez, 27, were apprehended after they handed over four plastic sachets containing methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, weighing approximately eight grams, to a PDEA poseur-buyer in their neighborhood.

Upon receiving the pre-arranged signal from the poseur-buyer, agents of PDEA Regional Office 1 Pangasinan Sector Special Enforcement Team under Director Jeoffrey Tacio immediately arrested the suspects.

Cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are now being prepared for filing in court against the three suspects.
