Police arrest 2 drug pushers
LINGAYEN—Two suspected illegal drug pushers were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in San Carlos City and Mangaldan last December 17.
Nabbed in Barangay Padilla-Gomez, San Carlos City was Arman Moratalla, 32, a tricycle driver.
Police found in his possession eight transparent sachets of shabu, P300 cash and assorted drug paraphernalia.
In Mangaldan, a joint operation by the municipal police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 1 led to the arrest of Gary Cendana, 38, of Barangay Banaoang, Mangaldan.
Seized from him was a black pouch containing five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the five P100 marked bills used by the police in the buy-bust operation.
The confiscated suspected illegal drugs were sent to the Crime Laboratory for analysis..–Hilda M. Austria
