Barangay kagawad abducted
ROSALES–A barangay kagawad of San Juan, Umingan was reportedly abducted by four men wearing bonnets at around 6:45 a.m. of May 31 and forced to board a red vehicle that sped towards the direction of Barangay Carmen.
The incident was reported to the police by Linda Lanoza, 49, a housewife and cousin of the victim, identified as Noli Peralta, 55, a retired army soldier.
Lanoza told the Rosales police that Peralta was standing in front of the DCS when four men grabbed him and forced him to board a vehicle with Plate No. RFD 840.
A verification is now ongoing with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to trace ownership of the get-away vehicle.
