LINGAYEN—“Keep everything simple but with substance.”

This was the formula given by Vice Governor Ferdinand Jose Calimlim to the local government officials of the 44 towns and four cities of the province for effective delivery of services.

Madaling gawin, madaling ayusin, madaling intindihin pero punong-puno ng laman,”

Calimlim said, citing how the provincial government under the administration of Gov. Amado Espino Jr. has been successful in its implementation of various programs and projects.

Espino echoed this message during the Media in Action forum of the Pangasinan

Press Club on Tuesday, saying that something as simple as maintaining the comfort rooms at the capitol consistently clean has gained praise from visitors.

Calimlim also said that the writing of the Pangasinan Hymn in the local language makes it more understandable, making it a more effective tool in instilling love of the province and its culture into the people.

Calimlim further said that with LGUs adopting the “keep it simple” formula, Pangasinan should be able to reach its goal of becoming the number one province in the country.
