Bugallon fish farmers receive fingerlings
THE local government of Bugallon and the German government donated 30,000 fingerlings to fisherfolks in three barangays in the town that were affected by typhoon Juan in 2010.
Sixteen fisherfolks from barangays Magtaking, Salasa, and Asinan received the donated fingerlings on March 1.
The project is part of the Livelihood Assistance program of Bugallon that received assistance from the German government for the first time.
Meanwhile, the agriculture department of the municipal government of Bugallon is also conducting a seminar for farmers, which started last November 26 and will end on March 15.–Guia Charissa Cerezo, CdD
