NEIL Ericsson Caguioa, a grade VI pupil at the Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation who represented San Carlos City division of Pangasinan in the Essay Writing Contest held last October 14 in the 2010 Regional English Olympics and Read-A-Thon, was fourth runner-up among 13 participating schools-division of Region I.

The young Caguioa received a certificate of recognition from the Department of Education. He was accompanied by his coach, Ms. Margie Beltran.

School divisions that participated were San Carlos City; Alaminos City; Urdaneta City; Dagupan City; Pangasinan I; Pangasinan II; San Fernando City; La Union; Candon City; Vigan City; Ilocos Sur; Laoag City and Ilocos Norte.

Neil Ericsson was among the youngest regional contestants having won first place in the Essay Writing Contest (Division Level) held last October 8.
