Bingo Caravan for a cause on May 30
LINGAYEN—The Pangasinan Provincial Employees Cooperative (PPEMCO) will hold its first Bingo Caravan sa Pangasinan on May 30, 4 p.m. at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center.
Proceeds of the event will go to the Calasiao Children’s Chorus that will represent the Philippines in the Korean Open Competition and First World Choir Championship International (children category) to be held in South Korea from July 7 to 17 this year.
The Calasiao Children’s Choir, founded in 2005, is composed of youngsters from Calasiao with ages ranging from 7 to 16.
Leo Hugo, assistant choir master, said the group had been in local, national and international choral competitions and won several awards including the Silver Diploma Award for the Children’s Choir Category and Bronze Diploma Award for the Music of the Religions Category in Xiamen, China in 2006.
The group will perform some of their selected best repertoires during the Bingo Caravan that will feature nine game patterns with corresponding prizes ranging from P10,000 to P100,000.
