Team Energy launches scholarship program
SUAL—Team Energy, operator of the 1,200 MW Sual Power Station here, recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with key strategic partners in the province for its Gintong Binhi ng Karunungan Scholarship Program.
The scholarships will finance the education of five high school graduates of Pangasinan in a five-year engineering or a three-year technology industrial course at Colegio de Dagupan and Pangasinan State University.
Aside from the two schools, the other partners of the company in the program are the Office of the Provincial Governor and the Department of Education (DepEd).
During the signing, Team Energy’s vice president for operations and Sual Power Station Manager Engr. Ruben Licerio reiterated Team Energy’s continuing commitment as Pangasinan’s growth partner through various Corporate Social Responsibility programs.

Team Energy stands for Tokyo Electric and Marubeni, one of the largest private producers of electricity in the Philippines with more than 2,000 megawatts (MW) of installed generating capacity.
