Nescafe and Milo join 2009 Bangus fests
COFFEE giant Nescafe is bringing the beach to the city streets on April 30 as part of the 2009 Bangus Festival in Dagupan.
Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez, chair of this year’s festival committee, announced that Nescafe will set up booths that will provide beach-themed activities, demonstrations on new ways to prepare cold coffee drinks, and beauty treatments.
The Nescafe Classic booth will feature a surf simulator and a Banana Boat Ride so participants can experience how to brave the waves for free.
For every purchase of Nescafe Classic 25g from the designated Beach Huts or Cabanas on site, the participants can avail one of the following services: Coffee Facial, Fish Foot Spa, Hair Wrapping, or Glitter Tattoo.
Participants can also join games and win prizes.
The highlight of the event will be the product demo of Nescafe Classic Cold Concoctions where participants can learn special recipes on how to prepare their favorite Nescafe Classic cold.
Meanwhile, the Sangguniang Kabataan led by Councilor Carlo Alipio Fernandez will host a two-day Milo Sports Clinic as well as their own Street Party.
Milo will hold sports clinics for basketball, taekwondo, badminton, chess, table tennis and karate-do for the youth.—LM
