BAP Pangasinan to elect officers
THE Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP) Pangasinan Chapter, after an 18-year hiatus, will finally hold an election on March 14 at the University of Luzon Multi-Purpose Hall.
Posts to be filled include the provincial commissioner, finance chairman, schedule chairman, ethics chairman, physical fitness chairman and auditor.
The election was called by newly-installed BAP Provincial Director Roger Law and Regional Director Chito Samson, and approved by BAP Secretary-General Graham Lim.
The election will be the first in 18 years after the present officers failed to heed BAP national’s memorandum in October 2008 requiring the filling up of the positions indicated.
The new set of officers is expected to revitalize the BAP chapter and basketball in the province.#
