THE 7th Annual Holistic Festival promoting the Philippines as the international medical tourism destination was held at the Villa Jireh Resort Hotel in Labrador town on February 27 to March 1.

The three-day holistic event on Health, Ecology, Arts, Livelihood and Spirituality (HEALS) was organized with help from local government agencies, wellness organizations, and medical and traditional alternative health practitioners and enthusiasts.

The exposition showcased natural pro-ducts, healing and healthy lifestyle herbal products and manufacturers, health and beauty products, health and wellness salons, food products and supplements, new products and inventions.

Eugene Torre, the 1st Filipino grandmaster, attended the festival and played chess with selected contestants to inspire the youth to take up this sport to the best level possible for the nation’s glory.
