Northern Luzon rural bankers hold confab
THE Joint Confederation of Northern Luzon Rural Banks will hold its 2009 Credit Management Conference on January 21 to 23 at the Oasis Country Resort in San Fernando City, La Union.
The theme of the three-day conference which will have Senator Manuel Roxas III as keynote speaker, is: “Efficiency and Productivity through Camaraderie”.
Gregory de Guzman, president of the Joint Confederation of Northern Luzon Rural Banks will present the group’s position paper during the opening day.
The other guest speakers are Tomas Gomez and Ma. Dolores Yuvienco.
President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo rallied the rural bankers to exert more efforts in providing easy loans and other forms of assistance to the rural folks in Northern Luzon.
The Samahang Bangko Rural ng Pangasinan Foundation, Inc. is hosting the event.—LM
