MORE than 2,000 pre-school children in Dagupan and their parents were treated to a free movie showing at the cinema of the CSI The City Mall on October 16 as part of the city’s celebration of Children’s Month.

Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez, owner of the CSI Group of Companies said the annual activity which has been ongoing for 10 years, was undertaken in partnership with the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD), and the Rotary Club of Uptown Dagupan.

The children from 42 day care centers and their parents were also given free snacks as they entered the movie house.

Other activities lined up for the month include a feeding program for the children for which the vice mayor has donated rice.—CSR
