LIBERATA DANCIL CASTRO

My tribute of respect to Liberata Dancil Castro, born in Mangatarem, August 17, 1925, died September 28, 2008 – 83 years old. She was one woman full of motherly love, her example will never be forgotten. The last time I saw her, she tried to keep her heart glad, happily retelling stories of the old days. She was confined at the Villaflor Hospital for 20 weeks, and died peacefully there, 7:30 Sunday Morning, a daughter by her side.

Her shoes will be impossible to fill. She and her late husband built a lasting monument- a business since 1965 that will continue through the years to come hopefully. A wonderful mother, full of wisdom, in love with mankind, plants, flowers, trees; generous, religious who never missed her daily 6:00 P.M. Angelus Prayer. I Lost a good, kind and caring Auntie (my mother’s sister), but she will never be forgotten.

Her family lost a remarkable mother, a loving woman to her late husband, Vicente de la Cruz Castro (born in Lingayen). They belonged to Christian Catholic body. They celebrated their Silver Wedding Anniversary at St. John Cathedral Church, Dagupan City many years back.

The last surviving child of late Basilio Dancil and Enocencia Damian, she joined her late brothers and sisters, Empelatris Alumbro, Solidad Collado, Apolonia, Cornelio, Celestino, Cente, and Orje.

She is survived by her children Timmy, Cocoy, Grancis Caridad, Elizabeth, Hazel, Benny Meneses, Dolly Gamboa, Arlyn Alumbro del Rosario, children-in laws and many grandchildren.

Her remains will be brought to Abalos Memorial Chapel, Bonuan, Dagupan City on September 28 to October 1, 2008

Her remains will be brought to Ylagan Memorial Chapel, Cabanatuan City on October 2 to October 3, 2008 where vigil prayers will be held.

Family, relatives, friends, welcome prayers remembering our beloved “Tia Bating”. We love her so much. Now at peace with the loving Lord.
