PANGASINAN Governor Amado I. Espino III called for sustained patient and discipline among Pangasinenses as he led the Abig Pangasinan Karaban in Brgy. Malokiat, a far-flung area in the town of Pozorrubio on May 27.

“Ang importante po na sinasabi naming lahat, kung ligtas po kayo ay ligtas po ang pamilya ninyo. Kung ligtas ang pamilya, ligtas po ang ating probinsya. Pamilya at probinsya po ang importante ngayon.” added Gov. Espino.

Gov. Espino also stressed that the provincial government is striking a balance between the safety of the people of Pangasinan and the socio-economic recovery of the province as he urged the Pangasinenses to follow the guidelines and policies they implemented for the betterment of the province and its people.

“Magsakrispyo po tayo para sa ating pamilya, kami po ang magsasakripisyo para sa probinsya,” added Gov. Espino as he also commended the provincial and local government officials for their hardwork and cooperation in protecting the Pangasinenses.

Board Member Chinky Perez-Tababa thanked the barangay officials and the frontliners for their continuous effort in protecting their constituents as she also assured the Pangasinenses that the provincial government will work hand-in-hand to sustained progress.

“Anuman po ang gawin nating programa, kung hindi po magtutulungan ang bawat isa hindi po malalabanan ang pandemya. Salamat po sa lahat po ng barangay officials, frontliners sa lahat ng barangay. Nandyan po kayo, tinitingnan niyo po ang kapakanan ng mga kabarangay niyo. Ginagawa niyo yan kahit alam natin na ang kalaban ay hindi nakikita para po ligtas ang inyong pamilya at ligtas ang inyong barangay. Hindi po dito natatapos ang ating pagsasama,” said BM Tababa.

Governor Espino, along with some department heads of the Provincial Government, brought various services under the Abig Pangasinan Karaban to assist Pangasinenses recover from the adverse effects of COVID-19 pandemic.

The Abig Pangasinan Karaban is consists of the following programs: Kabuhayan Palengke Karaban, Karagdagang Pangkabuhayan, Kalinisan Karaban, distribution of food support program, and Abig Laman ed Barangay.

“Makikita po natin na ang ating Gobernador, tinupad niya po ang ipinangako niya na dadalhin niya ang provincial government, ipararamdam niya ang pagmamahal ng provincial government sa lahat ng barangays dito sa lalawigan ng Pangasinan. Malaking tulong at pasasalamat din po namin bilang myembro ng ika-limang distrito. Sana po ay ipagpatuloy natin ito dahil marami tayong tao na matutulungan dito,” said Former Board Member Clemente Niño Arboleda.

Pozorrubio Mayor Emma Zosima T. Chan commended the provincial government for their effort and sacrifices in bringing necessary services for the betterment not only of their locals but the entire province.

“Nagpapasalamat po kami sa ating Governor. Ang laki pong sakripisyo ang kanyang ginagawa. Maraming salamat din sa grupo ng provincial government na hindi rin matawaran ang kanilang pagod. Halos araw-araw po wala silang hinto dahil sa kagustuhan po ng provincial na matulungan hindi lang po dito sa amin kundi sa buong Pangasinan,” said Mayor Chan. /DAT
