THE Department of Labor and Employment-Eastern Pangasinan Field Office held a ceremonial awarding of bigasan livelihood projects for TODAs in Sta. Maria and Asingan towns,  on February 8, 2024. The event, led by DOLE’s Mary Jane D. Hufano, representing DOLE-EPFO Chief Mary Antonette T. Avila, marked a milestone in DOLE’s efforts to uplift marginalized sectors in the Pangasinan.

The 61 member-beneficiaries of SMERTODA and NATODA of Sta. Maria, Pangasinan and 52 member-beneficiaries of Asingan TODA were awarded a total of P499,266 and P749,986.

Meanwhile, P11.3 million was also awarded to Balungao and Tayug as the Accredited Co-Partners for DILP and TUPAD programs, for the provision of four-wheel drive tractors, farming equipment and tools, and bigasan projects. (DOLE1)
