School owner found dead in campus
THE 72-year-old owner of a private school in Mangatarem town was found dead inside the school campus last Monday, March 15.
Custodian Jack Bagat, 58, reported for work at Mystical Rose College of Science and Technology in Barangay Pogon Lomboy, Mangatarem, and found the victim, Virgilio Valmonte, lying lifeless on the floor when he entered the campus stock room.
Bagat immediately called authorities for help, where they confirmed his death.
Authorities are still investigating Valmonte’s cause of death, although the possibility of foul play has been discounted. (Ahikam Pasion)
