Investigation revealed the Almoites, residents of Barangay Matalava in Lingayen town, were having a family gathering at the Falls and were about to have their lunch when they noticed the victim Manuel Almoite was missing.

During the initial search for him, family members saw the victim’s slippers floating on the water. It was then when they realized he could have drowned.
