Coca-cola sales manager shot dead

A SALES executive of Coca-Cola Plant in Calasiao town was shot dead by still unidentified men last December 24, Thursday.

The victim, Roy Fabia, a resident of Palua, Mangaldan, is a territory sales manager for the beverage company.

According to P/Lt. Colonel Luis Ventura, Dagupan City chief of police, initial investigation showed Fabia, along with companion Raymond Paraguas, went to a distributor’s warehouse in Sitio America, Barangay Bonuan Binloc, to present their gifts, when they were followed by four still unidentified men and chased them.

Paraguas was able to flee, but Fabia slipped and fell on the ground. He was shot several times in different parts of his body.

He was then declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

The suspects escaped by riding a black Nissan Terra and fled towards north.

Police recovered 19 empty shells of a caliber .45 pistol, two slugs of the same caliber, and three additional empty shells from a 5.56mm automatic rifle.

Investigation of the case is still ongoing. (Ahikam Pasion)
