Mangaldan, 4 towns get INC food packs

RESIDENTS of Barangay Guesang in Mangaldan and in four other towns recently received food packs, courtesy of the INC (Iglesia ni Cristo) Worldwide Aid to Humanity (Lingap sa Mamamayan) program.

Bro. Roselito M. Carlos, District Supervising Minister and District Staff of Iglesia ni Cristo in Lingayen District, turned over more than 4,000 food packs to the local government of Mangaldan.

Mangaldan Mayor Marilyn Lambino was joined by Sec. Raul Lambino and Vice Governor Mark Ronald Lambino in thanking INC for its food assistance to residents particularly those who lost their jobs.

According to Carlos, Aid to Humanity is a socio-civic activity of INC to help those in need, whether brethren or non-brethren was done in the 300 sites worldwide.

Other beneficiaries were residents of Barangay Ambayat II and Warding in Bayambang; Agno, Pozorrubio and Rosales.

The distribution is done every year by INC to promote the teaching of God to help those in need especially now that there is a pandemic and calamity.

The food packs contained 5 kilograms of rice and canned goods. (Nora Dominguez)
