TWO locally stranded individuals (LSI) were the latest to become COVID-19 positive cases in Lingayen.

This was confirmed by the Lingayen’s Municipal Health Office (MHO) on September 2 and added that the two are in addition to two other patients confined earlier in the hospital.

One is a 43-year-old male from Barangay Libsong West who arrived from Manila where he was operated on. While in Pangasinan, he was confined in a private hospital in Dagupan when he tested positive for COVID-19.

The other new COVID-19 positive is a 21-year-old policeman from Barangay Domandan Centro, Lingayen, based in Quezon City but who came home for surgery following a vehicular accident.

He was brought to a private hospital in Dagupan where he tested positive in his RT-PCR test.

Decontamination and disinfection were done at the respective residences of the two patients. (Leonardo Micua)
