AFTER providing assistance to front-liners fighting COVID-19 in the Fourth District, Rep. Christopher de Venecia is set to launch his banner program, the De Venecia Medical and Dental Mission.

But while the safety protocol for the Medical and Dental Mission was being prepared, Congressman De Venecia decided to deliver the basic  medicines needed by the people in 140 barangays of  his district.

The delivery of the medicines are being  handled by the Rural Health Units of Mangaldan, San Fabian, San Jacinto, and Manaoag and the City Health Office of Dagupan City,  as partners in his medical and dental program.

On June 9, the office of Rep. De Venecia started the delivery of the vitamins and assorted medicines to the 19 barangays of San Jacinto through the town’s Rural Health Unit.

Congressman De Venecia assured his constituents that  the distribution of medicines will not stop until all the barangays in the Fourth District is completed .

Among the medicines provided are for nausea, cough, swelling due to arthritis, asthma and diarrhea and vitamins for persons with iron deficiencies.

Congressman de Venecia continues to assist his indigent constituents in the district who’ve been confined at the Region 1 Medical and unable to pay their hospital bills by undertaking their medical expenses.

If the patient is already confined at the Region 1 Medical Center, his or her kin are advised to bring to his office the hospital bills and certificate of indigency from the DSWD.

Persons needing hospitalization assistance are advised to proceed to De Venecia’s District office in Dagupan City (A.B. Fernandez Avenue beside Banco de Oro) or call Telephone Number 523-6391. (Leonardo Micua)
