Cong De Venecia delivers 250 sacks of rice to Mangaldan
FOURTH District Rep. Christopher de Venecia delivered 250 sacks of rice to the local government of Mangaldan in support of its relief operations being undertaken for residents of the town.
The rice shipment delivered by the staff of Congressman De Venecia on April 12 was received by Mayor Marilyn Lambino.

Lambino, on behalf of the Sangguniang Bayan led by Vice Mayor Jojo Surdilla, and the people of Mangaldan, thanked Congressman De Venecia for the rice assistance.
The rice supply will boost the food stock of the local government that will be delivered to every household in Mangaldan whose breadwinners cannot leave their respective homes to earn a living because of the existing Enhanced Community Quarantine ordered by President Rodrigo Duterte.
Similar rice assistance was also simultaneously delivered by the congressman’s staff to the local governments of Dagupan, San Fabian, San Jacinto and Manaoag.
It will be recalled that the De Venecia family handed out personal protective equipment (PPEs) and face masks produced by their household to all towns and cities.
De Venecia earlier provided food packs and collapsible tents for use of policemen and their force multipliers to shield them from the sun while manning checkpoints.
Medical frontliners also received food packs in addition to alcohol, digital thermometers and other protection gears for front line workers fighting COVID-19 in the Fourth District
De Venecia is keenly monitoring the situation in his district and kept his line open for any request of assistance from any of his constituents during the current health crisis. (Leonardo Micua)
