A policeman of San Nicolas town and a still unidentified rider at presstime, died after their motorcycles collided with another motorcycle on January 3, Friday while crossing the provincial road, Zone 2 Brgy. San Roque in the town of San Nicolas.  

P/Captain Renato Gacad, town police chief, identified the fatality as P/SSg. Buenventura Rodrigo Jr, 36, a resident of San Nicolas town and a member of Sta. Maria Police Station.

According to Gacad, Rodrigo was travelling to Sta. Maria Police Station on his motorcycle when he collided with another motorcycle that overtook a tricycle from the opposite direction.

Due to strong impact of the collision, both were declared dead on arrival at the hospital. (Nora Dominguez)
