MARIZ Songcuan, a 26-year-old mother from Barangay Anonang in San Fabian, bested 24 equally glamorous women aged over 25 in this year’s search for Mrs. Philippines Globe held at the Marquis Event Place, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig on October 13.

The provincial board acknowledged and cited her feat with a Resolution No. 244-2019, authored by Board Members Jeremy Agerico B. Rosario and Liberato Z. Villegas.

Mrs. Philippines Globe 2019 seeks to recognize married women of substance, mothers and single mothers as movers of society, and as symbols of inspiration through their career, advocacy, achievement and life stories, as well as to promote beauty, culture and charity for women, and genuine empowerment and reinvention.

Songcuan, who also won Simone Swimwear Body Beautiful and Colours Woman of Style will represent the Philippines in the international competition of the Mrs. Globe 2019 on December 2019 in China. (PIO/SMDG)
