P’sinan bags 4 championship in Reg’l NSM contest

PANGASINAN bagged four championship spots in the regional contest of the 30th National Statistics Month celebration held on October 18 at the Department of Agriculture (DA) and National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) regional offices in San Fernando City, La Union.

Pangasinan won in Poster-Slogan Making (secondary and tertiary levels), Statistics Quiz (secondary), and Oratorical (secondary).

Champions in poster-slogan making contest (secondary and tertiary levels): Angelo Joshua C. Pamo of Alaminos City National High School and Virgilio Estrella III of the Pangasinan State University-Urdaneta Campus, respectively.

In the Statistics Quiz (secondary level), students from Colegio San Jose de Alaminos namely: Rico V. Romero, Kenneth Christian Y. Morales and Hazel B. Aycocho won.

In the oratorical contest for secondary level, John Angel Macairap of Benigno V. Aldana National High School in Pozorrubio town won.

Meanwhile,  1st runners-up winners were: Mark Jerome D. Natino of Colegio San Jose de Alaminos (Oratorical-Tertiary) and Hannah Thea B. De Guzman of Speaker Eugenio Perez National Agri-School (Essay Writing-Secondary).

The 2nd and 3rd runners-up: Rommel R. Embuido of SDO-ALS in Dagupan City (Essay Writing-Employee), Jose Luis Gonzales of Colegio de Dagupan (Essay Writing-Tertiary) and PASS College composed of Glyby Joy Reynaldo, Shane Gacad and John Rey Celeste (Statistics Quiz-Tertiary).

All proclaimed champions will receive their corresponding cash prizes on October 29 in La Union. ( PIO/RRB)
