Farmer, fisherman struck by lightning
LIGHTNING struck twice but in two places and hit a farmer in Natividad and a fisherman in Bolinao.
The farmer, Dionisio Domondon, 41, of San Eugenio in Natividad town, was farming in the field when rain suddenly poured, and lightning struck the victim on Sunday, July 31. He was declared dead on arrival at the Eastern Pangasinan District Hospital in Tayug town.
The fisherman, Truly Labio, 57, of Barangay Arnedo in Bolinao, went fishing and never returned only to be found floating lifeless, his body burnt and was apparently hit by lightning, too. (Ahikam Pasion)
