TRANSACTIONS BY DISTRICTS

IN a bid to contain the spread of COVID-19 in Pangasinan, the provincial government decided to implement a “six-day work week” among the Capitol employees to serve constituents separately by districts.

Provincial Legal Office chief lawyer Geraldine Baniqued, in an interview over Aksyon Radyo Pangasinan, said the implementation of a longer work schedule will minimize exposure of people and employees to large crowds seeking various services of the provincial government at the Capitol building and other offices.

She said flexible work arrangements will require only 60 % of the provincial government employees to work in offices while 40% will have to work from their homes since transactions will be opened to residents by districts as follows:

1.  Mondays to Wednesdays: for First, Second, and Third Districts residents.
2.  Thursdays to Saturdays: for Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Districts residents.
