DUE to increasing COVID-19 cases, persons coming from the National Capital Region and high-risk areas will need to present their negative RT-PCR result with three days validity when going home to Bani town effective April 9.

Bani Mayor Gwen Palafox-Yamamoto added that that they also need to present their proof of residence like valid identification card or a barangay clearance if their ID is not available.

Upon arrival in Bani, these individuals are required to report to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office or Barangay Health Emergency Response Team.

If deemed necessary by the Rural Health Unit, they will be required to stay home for 7 days.

Video and liquor ban is also in effect here.

All tourism sites in Bani remain closed, the order said.

For residents of Bani who will go outside the town but are not under the Authorized Persons Outside Residence category, they need to secure transaction record outside Bani form for contact tracing purposes available at the One Stop Shop Office at the Municipal Hall from Monday to Sunday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

These will be presented to municipal boundary checkpoints. (Eva Visperas)
